29 June 2026
Dare Media Group Australia confirms that, effective immediately, the services of Jose Martinez, known on air as "Crazy Joe," have been terminated following a review of a live broadcast that aired on Dare Talk Radio on 26 June 2026 between 8:00am and 10:00am Australian Western Standard Time.
Following an internal review, Dare Media Group Australia determined that conduct during the broadcast was inconsistent with our broadcasting standards, company policies, and the professional expectations we hold for all presenters representing our organisation.
Dare Media Group Australia maintains a zero-tolerance approach to conduct that compromises the privacy, safety, or wellbeing of any individual. We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and responsible broadcasting environment across all of our platforms.
As a result of this review, Jose Martinez is no longer affiliated with Dare Media Group Australia or any of its brands, including Dare Talk Radio and Radio X Gold.
We thank our listeners, partners, and presenters for their continued trust and support as we remain committed to delivering responsible, high-quality programming across our network.

The Crazy Joe Show on Dare Media Group Radio Stations
26/06/2026 - Effective immediately, Dare Media Group has suspended The Crazy Joe Show from both Radio X Gold and Dare Talk Radio.
This decision follows an incident that occurred during a live broadcast of The Crazy Joe Show on Dare Talk Radio between 8:00am and 10:00am AWST on Friday, 26 June 2026.
Dare Media Group takes its broadcasting standards, policies, and responsibilities seriously. We are committed to maintaining a safe, professional, and responsible broadcasting environment across all of our stations.
The matter is currently under internal review. While that process is underway, The Crazy Joe Show will remain suspended from both Radio X Gold and Dare Talk Radio until further notice.
We appreciate the understanding of our listeners, partners, and the wider community as we address this matter appropriately.

Radio X Country to Cease Broadcasting on 30 June 2026
To Our Listeners, Presenters, Partners and Supporters,
Dare Media Group wishes to advise that after careful consideration, Radio X Country will officially cease broadcasting on 30 June 2026.
This decision has not been made lightly. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported Radio X Country throughout its journey, including our loyal listeners, presenters, syndicated content providers, advertisers, and industry partners.
While Radio X Country will be closing, many of the programs currently heard on the station will continue on other platforms. Several shows will be moving to our sister station, Radio X Gold, ensuring listeners can continue enjoying many of their favourite presenters and programs.
From 1 July 2026, we encourage all Radio X Country listeners to continue their listening journey with either:
Radio X Gold – Follow Radio X Gold on Facebook and listen online at gold.radiox.com.au.
957 Webradio – Listen online at 957webradio.com and discover a great range of music and syndicated programming.
For syndicated program producers and content creators looking for a new home for their shows following the closure of Radio X Country, we invite you to contact us. Importantly, this change only affects Radio X Country. All other Dare Media Group stations and programming will continue to operate as normal, with no changes to their current schedules or operations.
We are incredibly proud of what Radio X Country achieved and grateful for the support it received from listeners across Australia and beyond. While this chapter is coming to an end, we are excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to continuing to entertain and connect with audiences through Radio X Gold, 957 Webradio, and the wider Dare Media Group network.
Radio X Country will continue broadcasting its regular programming schedule until 30 June 2026, when the station will officially sign off.

Affiliation Statement – Channel 12 TV Network
Dare Media Group Australia confirms that, as of 10 January 2026, our affiliation with Channel 12 TV Network has formally ceased.
This includes the discontinuation of all content sharing, partnerships, and syndication arrangements between Dare Media Group Australia and Channel 12 TV Network. As part of this change, AM Mayhem is no longer syndicated, broadcast, or distributed on Channel 12 TV Network in any format.
Dare Media Group Australia confirms that our syndication partnership with Freakshow Radio continues and is not affected by this change.
Channel 12 TV Network is not authorised to represent, distribute, rebroadcast, or associate itself with Dare Media Group Australia, AM Mayhem, or any affiliated brands or programs from this date forward.
All Dare Media Group Australia content is now distributed exclusively through our own platforms and approved partners.

Dare Media Group Australia has received correspondence from a small number of individuals regarding comments or conduct by the presenter of The Crazy Joe Show that occurred prior to the program airing on Dare Media Group Australia radio stations, including on other platforms, media organisations, and radio services not associated with Dare Media Group Australia.
Dare Media Group acknowledges these concerns. Any matters relating to past conduct have been reviewed and addressed prior to The Crazy Joe Show commencing on Dare Media Group Australia radio stations. The current iteration of The Crazy Joe Show is produced solely for entertainment purposes, is not intended to offend, and operates under new editorial oversight. This updated version of the program aligns with Dare Media Group Australia’s core values of Daring Australian Radio Entertainment.
Dare Media Group Australia maintains strict editorial, legal, and behavioural standards across all platforms under its control. While creative expression is supported, any breach of Dare Media Group policies, core values, or applicable laws will result in swift and appropriate action, up to and including termination.
For clarity, the YouTube channel titled “The Crazy Joe Video Chronicles” is independently owned and operated and has no affiliation with Dare Media Group Australia or any radio stations owned or operated by Dare Media Group Australia.
The operator of that channel has published the following disclaimer:

Dare Media Group announces that, effective immediately, we have terminated our relationship with Mastiff.Media, Matrix Media, and their associated radio stations — Yergz Radio, Rainbow Radio, Forward.Radio, Right Talk Radio, Shady Newz Radio, and Mastiff Sports.
In addition, Dare Media Group has discontinued the overnight program “Up The Middle”, hosted by Ross “Yergz” Yerger, following serious misconduct while on-air. This conduct is not consistent with Dare Media Group’s core values of delivering “Daring Australian Radio Entertainment.”
Since his termination, Mr. Yerger has made a number of claims and accusations regarding Dare Media Group, our stations, and our employees. We wish to make it clear that these statements are false, untrue, and without merit. They do not reflect the facts of the matter and we reject them in their entirety.
