Radio X Country to Cease Broadcasting 
on 30 June 2026

To Our Listeners, Presenters, Partners and Supporters,

Dare Media Group wishes to advise that after careful consideration, Radio X Country will officially cease broadcasting on 30 June 2026.

This decision has not been made lightly. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has supported Radio X Country throughout its journey, including our loyal listeners, presenters, syndicated content providers, advertisers, and industry partners.

While Radio X Country will be closing, many of the programs currently heard on the station will continue on other platforms. Several shows will be moving to our sister station, Radio X Gold, ensuring listeners can continue enjoying many of their favourite presenters and programs.

From 1 July 2026, we encourage all Radio X Country listeners to continue their listening journey with either:

Radio X Gold – Follow Radio X Gold on Facebook and listen online at gold.radiox.com.au.

957 Webradio – Listen online at 957webradio.com and discover a great range of music and syndicated programming.

For syndicated program producers and content creators looking for a new home for their shows following the closure of Radio X Country, we invite you to contact us. If you would like your show considered for broadcast on Radio X Gold, please email Scott.Browning@daremediagroup.com.au. Importantly, this change only affects Radio X Country. All other Dare Media Group stations and programming will continue to operate as normal, with no changes to their operations.

We are incredibly proud of what Radio X Country achieved and grateful for the support it received from listeners across Australia and beyond. While this chapter is coming to an end, we are excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to continuing to entertain and connect with audiences through Radio X Gold, 957 Webradio, and the wider Dare Media Group network.

Radio X Country will continue broadcasting its regular programming schedule until 30 June 2026, when the station will officially sign off.
